LSL Girls Baseball Winter Camp 2020

(English below)

To all LSL girls and happy new year! :

The Region will soon be holding the 10th edition of its annual winter baseball camp for girls (Atom to Midget). This is when our season really begins, as girls come out of winter to meet their baseball friends and start playing again. As usual, we’ll focus on one particular theme at each session and play a friendly game (older girls together, and likewise for younger ones). We will be using the St. Laurent sports complex twice! There will be more space, and the artificial turf will give us a better baseball feel than the gym floor.

All LSL girls turning at least 8 this year (that is, born at least in 2012) are welcome to attend.Bring a friend! It's OK if she hasn't played before.

As usual, please register ASAP with Eric Laferrière (eric.laferriere@johnabbott.qc.ca) and specifying which sessions you will be attending. There is limited space. See schedule below.

What happens at the camp?

There are four 90-mn sessions: warm-up, technical training (pitching, hitting, grounders, fly balls, relays), friendly game. Younger girls are grouped together, and likewise for older girls. We have many experienced coaches helping out!

When and where?

1) Sunday, February 16, 10:30 AM-12:00 PM, St.Laurent Sports Complex
2) Sunday, February 23, 3:00-4:30 PM, Cegep St.Laurent
3) Sunday, March 1, 10:30 AM-12:00 PM, St.Laurent Sports Complex
4) Sunday, March 8, 3:00-4:30 PM, Cegep St.Laurent

Fees:

$5 per session, or $15 for four. Payable on site by cash or cheque to Baseball Region LSL.
