PURPOSE

The objective of the 11U Division program is to get young players interested in baseball by stressing and maintaining active participation of all players with an emphasis on teaching and reinforcing the fundamentals of baseball in a fun and safe environment. There are two levels of 11 baseball offered in Lakeshore so that we can meet the skill sets and competitive spirits of our players.

11U A baseball is when players start pitching and stealing. The rules vary slightly from level to level.

The Lakeshore Lynx are our 11 U A team competing in the Ligue de Baseball Lac St-Louis versus teams from other associations in the Region (Teams may vary depending on years)

Players can expect a regular season consisting of around 20 games, and to be on the field approximately 3-4 times per week from late May through the middle of August.

The Regional Championships include all teams and immediately follow the end of the regular season. The Regional champion gets the honour of representing the Lac St-Louis region in the Provincial Championships.

In addition to the regular season and Regionals, the team may enter into a sanctioned BQ tournament, should the team wish

11U B baseball also utilizes pitchers, but in the case of a walk, the batter will have the opportunity to hit off of a tee in order to promote more hits!

11U B is recreational in nature and teams also compete in the Ligue de Baseball Lac St-Louis against teams from other associations in the region (Teams may vary depending on years)
